Elemental Architecture, an award-winning multidisciplinary practice, is currently seeking Senior Architects with robust design and project management expertise to contribute to all phases of design, project administration, and documentation across various program types. 

These include single/multifamily residential, universities, and commercial office interiors, encompassing new construction, major building renovations, and interiors.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 10+ years of architectural project experience; NYS licensure is preferred.
• Extensive familiarity with NYC & NYS Building Codes, construction techniques & detailing, as well as working knowledge of related engineering disciplines and project administration practices.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in team leadership and mentoring junior staff.
• Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication abilities.
• Proactive and effective leadership skills in leading project teams.
• Strong in REVIT & AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and project management software (e.g., MS Project).
• Strong inclination towards Modernist design sensibilities.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing multiple projects of varying scales and typologies, guiding them through all developmental phases.
• Reviewing project contracts to determine deliverables, schedules, and limitations.
• Collaborating with Principals to establish project schedules, staffing requirements, and financial projections to ensure projects are completed within budget.
• Researching and implementing all relevant regulatory requirements for projects.
• Overseeing the preparation of contract documents and all necessary filings and submissions to regulatory agencies.
• Applicants must be based in the New York City metro area and have legal authorization to work in the US.
