Blejer Architecture is a Modern Architecture firm focused on custom residential and other project types in the beautiful Hudson Valley. We have a creative and growing team and are seeking a talented individual to join our team. We are looking for a motivated and creative professional with relevant experience to contribute to ongoing and new projects.

Job Description - This is an in office position. In this role, you will work closely on all aspects and phases of our projects, from Schematic Design to Construction Administration. Our current projects range from high-end renovations in New York City to ground-up construction in the natural settings of the country. Your responsibilities will include drafting, developing details and construction methods, coordinating with consulting engineers, communicating with clients and builders, creating drawing sets, and managing small teams or working independently under the guidance of the principal architect.

Candidates must be available to work collaboratively in our office and meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Minimum 5 years of professional office experience working on relevant design projects
• Proficiency in producing drawings through all phases of a project
• Strong graphic representation skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Understanding of NYS and NYC building codes and zoning regulations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Fluent in English
• Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable car
