Join Johnson Fain’s team as a Senior Interior Designer, where we create beautiful interior spaces that blend design and functionality.  We are looking for a designer with a strong vision and proven experience in all stages of Interior Design from conceptual design and selection of furnishings to detailed documentation. In addition, the candidate must possess a strong work ethic and excellent leadership and communication skills.

 Qualifications:

• 10+ years of post-graduation Interior Design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school.
• In-depth knowledge of finishes, materials, furniture and specifications, with particular experience in workplace and/or hospitality design.
• Excellent graphic skills.
• Advanced knowledge of current versions of REVIT and AutoCAD.
• Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and InDesign and  3D rendering software.
• NCIDQ certification is preferred.

Your Role:

•  Independently lead design projects, with oversight from Design Director and Project Manager.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Lead client interactions.
• Handle all aspects of interior design including programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction documentation.
• Select and present furniture, finishes and lighting selections.
• Develop interior details and mentor junior team members in developing technical skills.
• Produce presentation drawings that effectively and creatively communicate design ideas.
• Work collaboratively to coordinate design and documents with other disciplines.
