BRPH is an international architectural and engineering firm that offers a full range of in-house services with clients in the Aerospace, Manufacturing, Education, Entertainment and Hospitality markets. Our firm is looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic team in our Huntsville, Alabama office.  Huntsville, known as the “Rocket City” and home for defense and aerospace firms, has experienced major “high-tech growth” since the Saturn V rocket took off. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of A&E projects for our aerospace clients. From conceptualization to completion, the Project Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

RESPONSBILITIES:

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with clients to define project objectives, scope, and requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate resources, including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure project success.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance checks to maintain project integrity.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular meetings, progress updates and status reports.
  • Resolve conflicts and address issues promptly to maintain positive relationships.

Budget and Cost Control:

  • Monitor project budget and expenditures.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts for project stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Foster a culture of trust, innovation, and creativity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of bachelor’s degree, in Architecture, Engineering or Construction related field, from an accredited four-year college or university.

  • Minimum of five (5) years related experience.
  • Must be a licensed professional engineer or architect.
  •  Proven experience in A&E project management within the aerospace industry
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Deltek, MS Project)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
