Reporting to the Director of Store Development & Construction, the Construction Project Coordinator will facilitate construction projects from construction commencement to project completion for retail doors and counters on the American West Coast. This role will coordinate American West Coast store and office maintenance and improvements. Additionally, this role will assist in the development and improvement of retail planning and development strategy, systems and processes. The role will ensure that Aesop’s design philosophy is paramount, whilst maintaining sensitivity to project budgets, timelines and operational needs. Based in L.A., the role will require travel approximately 40% of the time.


  • Bachelor degree in architecture or construction management, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of construction software (e.g. AutoCAD 2007 (or more recent), Microsoft Office Suite + Microsoft Project, Rhino 3D, Sketchup 3D)
  • 2 or more years of project coordination in the US retail environment
  • High attention to detail and understanding of Aesop’s design aesthetics
  • Analytical with a proven ability to proactively present and escalate ideas, suggestions and problems
  • Self-disciplined, organized and able to effectively coordinate and collaborate with contractors and vendors
  • Strong written, graphic and verbal communication skills
  • Spanish skills desirable
