Small and growing architectural firm seeks a highly talented and detail-oriented Architect.  This full time position requires very strong design, drawing, analytical, communications, management, collaborative and leadership skills to manage residential, commercial and medical office projects from concept through completion. Must have 8+ years architectural experience and proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects delivered on time and within budget. 

Responsibilities include project design, development and contract documents; periodic site inspections and reports; developing and maintaining strong client relationships; presenting to clients and community boards; coordinating staff, engineers and expediters; administering contracts using AIA contracts and forms;, maintaining detailed project schedules, budgets and files; and scheduling, coordinating and tracking workflow to meet project schedules.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Architecture degree or foreign equivalent
  • NYS Architect’s License and 8+ years architectural experience
  • Basic understanding of NYC Construction Codes and zoning
  • Experienced Adobe Creative Suite, Mac and PC user
  • Proficient in Autodesk Premium Suite, office and project management software 
  • Proficient in Rhino, 3D Studio Max or SketchUp 3D modeling
