Zyscovich is searching for a Construction Administration Architects to contribute to our highly innovative and diverse team of professionals.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct all activities related to project construction contract administration, including drawings process, field observations, reports, change orders and pay requests.
  • Other related activities include development and improvement of the contract administration process with emphasis on efficiency, quality assurance, quality compliance, and rapid project close-out.  
  • Responsibility for Construction Administration project budgets and schedules.
  • Accumulates, evaluates and presents feedback information related to necessary changes in construction documents.
  • Participates in various project status meetings.
  • Conducts on-site observations and prepares reports and resolves construction administration problems for larger projects.
  • Coordinates with the architecture/engineering team to ensure project completion is in compliance with contract documents and state code.
  • Reviews project drawings, bonds and other post-construction submittal for approval.
  • Assembles and verifies construction change order information for approval.
  • Reviews contractor payment requests.
  • Maintains favorable working relations with client and contractor.
  • Originates recommendations regarding state personnel requirements.


  • Knowledge of sustainable design and construction process
  • Survey experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Field experience is a plus
  • General Contractor license is a plus
  • Institutional experience is preferred but not required


  • 7-10 years in Construction Administration or related field
  • Bachelors in Construction Management or Engineering
