We have an immediate opening at our design studio in Dumbo, Brooklyn. We offer an intense but casual, design-driven work environment.

You will not be pigeon-holed into one role within the office, and your soul will remain safely yours and will not be sucked into the corporate abyss (we promise)!

This is a DESIGN and project management position, and you must have an exceptionally strong portfolio.

Responsibilities will include all aspects of design, and project management, including conceptual design, critical path scheduling, overseeing construction document preparation, handling contracts and negotiations, and liaising with the client.

Applicants must hold a professional architecture degree (M. Arch preferred) and must have a minimum of 5 years experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Residential design
  • Retail design
  • Commercial new construction

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional design skills as well as solid project management experience.

Non-negotiable Requirements:

  • You must have a minimum of 5 years professional working experience.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Complete 2-d cad mastery.
  • You have advanced 3-d design and rendering proficiency with at least two of: Sketchup, Rhino, Vray & Maxwell.
  • Professional B. Arch degree minimum, M. Arch preferred.
  • You must have an exuberant love of technology, prototyping, tinkering and be very hands-on.
  • You are well organized, motivated, and resourceful and can handle stressful sink or swim situations.
  • Must be available to start within 4 weeks.


  • Passive House design.
  • Strong graphic design skills.
  • Complete Adobe proficiency (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
  • Project Management experience.
  • Retail design experience.
  • Residential design experience.
  • Interactive media design experience.
  • Professional photography experience.
  • CSS, HTML, Drupal or Wordpress experience.
