This position will manage retail projects and be responsible for leading a project through all phases, from conception to completion. He or she will oversee and manage the tasks of Project Architects and Designers, in order to accomplish project goals and meet scheduling demands.
Responsibilities will include:
manage projects to ensure that quality, schedule, contractual, budget, and client goals and constraints are met.
implement or participate in evaluation of existing facilities, preliminary cost estimates, and various parameters to assess site feasibility.
coordinate site surveys and manage production of Existing Conditions document sets and perform periodic site visits to monitor progress.
implement or participate in concept development, in terms of program, layout, design aesthetic.
develop concept through Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document sets following building codes, ADA guidelines, environmental standards and site regulations for compliance.
detail construction, millwork, and specifications, managing scheduling and approval of all fixtures, finishes, and equipment.
manage project throughout Bidding & Negotiating and Construction Administration phases.
coordinate with various trades, such as engineers, expeditors, landmarks consultants, visualization consultants, contractors, and vendors, for seamless communication and collaboration.
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
7 + years in the Architecture Field
4 + years Experience in Retail Architecture and Design
Experience in preparing Construction Document sets
Full understanding of AutoCAD
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
Leadership and interpersonal skills
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to direct and collaborate with team members
