Small, high end residential interior design firm seeks knowledgeable and organized bookkeeper/office manager.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain organized records of project orders, payments and deliveries
  • Generate client estimates, invoices and purchase orders to vendors
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable; communicate with accountant to file quarterly and monthly taxes
  • HR support and payroll
  • Follow up with vendors and assist design team with scheduling of deliveries
  • Coordinate with clients’ building management to facilitate delivery authorizations
  • Maintain office supplies, organize and maintain sample library, sample returns
  • Provide general support to design team
  • Maintain office equipment and supplies; communicate with landlord and IT vendor
  • Assist with marketing, PR, web-site management and project photoshoots
  • Interest in working within a small business, Art/Design, design blogs and publications a BIG plus

The ideal candidate should have administrative and bookkeeping experience; excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, work independently and collaboratively with a small team.  He/She must be computer savvy and proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ideally Adobe Creative Suite; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Part-time to full-time 30-40 hours per week negotiable; somewhat flexible schedule TBD; Competitive Salary, Sick and Vacation Time, Medical Benefits Negotiable.
