The WASA/Studio A marketing group is looking for a creative and well organized Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate takes initiative, adapts to a changing workload and thrives in a deadline-oriented environment. We are seeking someone who is interested in architecture and engineering, but also has a strong background in graphic design and marketing.
Under supervision of the Marketing Director and working directly with the firm’s partners, the Marketing Coordinator must be able to undertake a wide range of projects, including:
Work closely with the Marketing Director, Director of Business Development, Project Managers, Partners, Consultants and appropriate proposed team members in the preparation of various marketing materials
Preparation of proposal submissions and qualifications packages that can range from short documents to multi-chapter submissions. In addition to being responsible for assembling both visual and written components of these submissions, the Marketing Coordinator will also assist partners in communicating with sub-consultant team, set up in-house strategy meetings and executing final production/delivery.
Preparation of presentations and leave behinds to support business development efforts.
Update/create print collateral such as brochures and postcards
Maintain project information including photography, project descriptions and cost/completion data for marketing efforts
Perform any additional duties as requested by the Marketing Director
Essential skills include:
Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Architecture or Engineering
1-3 years of experience working in marketing, architecture or graphic design.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
Thorough understanding of MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop.
Excellent time-management skills and the initiative to begin projects independently.
An eye for composition and typography.
Ability to produce creative graphic solutions that reflect the firm’s existing branding and marketing efforts.
Solid written and verbal communication skills as well as grammatical proofing and editing abilities
