What if I just want a Maserati

obelix

What if you have an MArch, but don't really care whether your architectural vision gets realized? What if you don't even have an architectural vision? What if you just want a Maserati? Any suggestions on which way to go?

you have an M.arch, don't want to go back to school, but want a maserati. I think your best bet is to take some finance courses at night and try to get an internship with a development firm, then work your way up. You could be in Maserati territory within maybe 5 years if the economic conditions are right and you can keep at the firm and get promoted up.

Even an architect can own a Maserati:

The new ones are pretty nice and much better cars (since Fiat owns them, along with Ferrari).

Personally, I'd aim for an Aston Martin.

I think Tesla's will be a good buy a couple years from now once they've worked out all the kinks and the prices come down. $105k for the roadster is way to steep and unfortunately right now that limits it to being a green fashion statement for wealthy hollywood types instead of a real alternative to petrol vehicles. I also think electrics and hybrids are really just stop gaps until the Hydrogen age arrives, even though I know Kunstler and alot of leftist nay-sayers would disagree with me.

$50,000 for the Tesla sedan. Almost within range of a bank exec making $500,000 a year.

Tesla is vaporware. Is that guy trying to steal those rims? he must be an architect. If you can't own it, steal it.
