Beam myself into the future.
i saw them live too...
the background stuff in that video, with projected images and colors, and the band linear in front of it reminds me of Talking Heads' "Stop Making Sense" stage setup.
toast.... they played at the state theatre back in 99 and in 2004(or2005)...i went to the later one... it was packed and i think tickets were around 50 or so.... the state is now called the "filmore".. sort of stupid if you ask me....
i think the show ended up being 2 hours or so...... it was crazy... all you could do is stand there and be amazed at it......
I just realized that if 10 years feels like not so long ago, then maybe I'm getting up there. maybe I'll feel differently in another 5 years when the interns I work with were born in the same year I started working.
kraftwerk......
really diggin the background at the 2.25 mark
i have seen them live.............. i would pay twice to see them again

cryzko - you're from Detroit, right? I saw them several years ago at the state theatre... one of the best live shows I've ever seen.
I just remembered that I lost those tickets when I moved out east... damn.
anyway - the state (I think it's called something else now) used to be one of my favorite haunts... are they still doing Monday night movies?

sometimes they get on
bad terms with the younger men,
old, young, age don't carry weight
it doesn't matter in the end
