POST YOUR LECTURE SERIES!!!!

THuh

Ladies and Gentlemen!!! As I sit here in corporate land daydreaming of concrete and steel and thoughts of how I want to see Zumthor before he kicks the bucket, I thought to myself, "would it not be a great idea to chase after premiere lectures on topics that I am truly interested!!?!" So, I then decided to surf the web, searching for calendars from prospective speakers of interest and have found nothing useful nor current. Then the idea popped up....ask the Archinect community!!! So, please if you will, give us all an idea on who will be speaking, the subject, time and place as well as any links that would prove useful!!! Thanks in advance!! (sidenote: really interested in Adjaye, Zaha, Zumthor, Michael Graves, community awareness, innovative materials (ex: concrete with fiber optics for aggregate:) and innovative, minimalistic design) Cheers!!

There aren't too many starchitects who make it out to my school in the dead of winter, but there's a lot of really exciting R&D happening, as well as some great artists giving talks throughout the year.

I haven't been to a single architect/artist lecture this year, but the other day ICE-T came and gave a talk, so I obviously had to go to that. ICE-T is the man.

THIS, however, is some cool shit:
