Hey
givemeastamp ,
But Dominique (Patricia Neal) was SUPER-HOT. One of my favorite actresses.

Also, I have to second Dr. Strangelove, & Fight Club (bye-bye Starbucks!) gotta add:
'2001, A Space Odyssey' just for the fluorescent nature of the whole film. Kinda remindsd me of every college bldg at night - empty but lit up like hell w/ the 60cycles/second bombarding my eyes.

ok, its in catalan .. but here Barcelona's arch school library compiled a lot of films that were related to architecture one way or another... just click in 'Pel·licules' (films) for a full list, or browse by directors...

I second ahr ki tehkt - "Playtime" by Tati is a movie ABOUT architecture. It is a must-see, especially as mid-century modern is on the rise in home decor.

Definitely not a classic film, but a hysterically funny one - "Shawn of the Dead" shows a great portrayal of how we unconciously shut out the melee around us in urban life just to keep on surviving our day to day routine.
