DOM Interiors specializes in kitchens and furniture systems and was launched in 1999. Since then, DOM has evolved from a concentrated hub into a fast growing network in North America.  DOM New York is our flagship showroom in the United States. Located in SoHo, the showroom offers the entire range of companies under the Dom umbrella. We also serve as the corporate headquarters for DOM. We work with a global network of architects and designers on private residences, workplaces, and multi-unit projects. 

This position is an internship at the DOM Interiors showroom in Soho. Candidates will gain an understanding of the "to the trade" design industry.

Primary Responsibilities

• Pulling samples for clients in the showroom and for clients who call to request mail outs
• Managing inventory for all lines 
• Receive inventory
• Assist with showroom related events
• Assist sales reps with in-showroom appointments
• Assist with merchandising and displays in the showroom
• Daily showroom duties: tidying floor area, finish samples and tear sheets

Minimum Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will be working toward a Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field or have equivalent work experience.
• Ideal candidates will have some experience working in a retail or showroom environment.
• Ability to multitask
• Some light lifting (20lbs – 30lbs max)
• Computer skills – AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite
