Qualities of a sea urchin became the basis for an adaptable component. Utilizing Generative Components as a tool, I developed unique spatial and structural languages through the aggregation of this component. The program for the Marine Science Research Center is a 50,000 square foot mixed-use complex with space for laboratories, public library, aquariums, living quarters and a museum.
