About

I always believe that spatial design is an art to create relations, not only between physical spaces, but also between people's heart.

I am currently studying at University of Pennsylvania, and have also had internship at AECOM for over 6 months. I received my Bachelor of Architecture from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA), where I was honored with the Best Thesis Project of Beijing 2022.

I am committed to staying at the forefront of the rapidly changing society. I am eager to use spacial language and digital technologies to create diverse, equal and inclusive spaces that bring people together in cultural and spiritual ways, from the macro-strategy to the excellence of details, and always welcome opportunities to learn.

Employment

SWA Group, Los Angeles, CA, US, Intern

• Tianfu Central Business Park
- Completed the program analysis of the site, and the conceptual design, sketching and modeling for the Water Axis, Forest Axis and the sunken plaza area. (including Rain Garden, Flower Valley, Roof Park, Great Lawn, etc.
- Communicated with the architecture team to confirm the requirements of the commercial core area's building, while proposing landscape design suggestions.
- In charge to draw the master plan, produce several renderings (using Lumion), and draw several construction drawing.
• Powerland Centralized Office
- Individually completed the design, modeling, and the presentation file for the Scheme 2 of the 44.5-acre Park, Which includes diverse spatial scales and types: Welcome Plaza, waterside theater, ecological wetlands, waterfront boardwalk, etc.
- Designed the circulation for both pedestrians and vehicles, and the view analysis based on the site's various elevations in relation to the river.

In the project of The landscape design of BEIJING BEIXIAO RIVER,I designed, modeled and rendered 6 nodes of the riverfront, including Sport Field, Under-bridge Trail, Kayak Center, etc.
In the project of the Children's Playground in Aranya: I set the theme as "ocean beach exploration" and combined the slide with the mast image as the tower and the most obvious symbol of the site, designed a curved metal pipe to separate from the mast and connect climbing nets, swings and other facilities
In the project of NIO Intelligent Electric Car Industrial Park - Design of Automatic Driving Experience Area, I recommended that the lane should be bent as much as possible, set interference factors, and set line of sight occlusion to test the maximum function of on-board RGB camera, combine the driveway with the rolling grass, and plant trees to give users a good driving experience in the forest.

DDA: Digital Design & Art Project
By creating the "integration platform of school-industry-city", we hope to attract
diverse scientific and creative talents, cultivate world-class digital projects, and
create innovative applications. We launched the "DDA(Digital Design&Art)Project",
hoping to achieve feedback to the city through the cultivation of talents in the field
of digital science, engineering and art, etc. When turning our project strategy into
space tactic, in order to make the ground floor of the city more continuous and
public, we broke down the traditional concept of "road" , which separates blocks,
and used the concept of "Puzzle" to tighten the relationship of convergence /
research & development / application

Project name: NINTH HELL, NINTH HEAVEN
The end of City X would come in the first nuclear winter after the explosion in the center of the city. People from the slum had swarmed into the city madly in search of opportunities. The paralyzed city is waiting for rebirth. After the nuclear disaster, there is full of hope and death at the same time in City X.

In the center of the explosion, we wanted to rebuild a structure that on one hand gives shelter to the survivors, on the other hand, to be the temporary functional core of the city. In this situation, the first thing that came to mind is the lack of various construction resources, such as manpower and raw materials. So creating a new way to build is especially important.
This led to our design, which we hoped to take advantage of the large amount of colored glass produced in the nuclear explosion(formed by melted stones, which scientists named Trinitite), and turn them into the standard brick for building. At the same time, a modular construction framework is used to quickly build a cloud-kissing tower, which can keep the survivors away from the high radiation environment on the ground.
