Olympic Garden is located in the core area of Chongqing North New Dist., with superior location, beautiful environment, good air quality, and complete transportation system. The site has a subtropical monsoon humid & mild climate; its existing condition is complex terrain and typical hilly topography of Chongqing “Mountain City”.  Its total area is ​​220 hectares; it’s one of Chongqing's largest residential property development projects and a high-end composite type settlement with various property types including high-rise residence, multistory garden houses, townhouses, single-family villas, and boutique commerce. This project is the second phase of Olympic Garden’s ten-year plan -Ολυμπία βουνό Plan, and the largest pure villa area in Chongqing, with an area of ​​near 120 hectares; it’s located in high-lying north area of Olympic Garden, and will be built as a "World-class Mid-levels Garden City."

Planning Objectives:

-- Create a community center through planning;

-- Enhance the long-term value of Olympic Garden by connecting the new and old communities;

-- Handle the relationships between hilly terrain, roads and buildings, so as to maximize the advantages of hillside architecture.

Planning Concept: Valley Villages scattered in Olympia Mountains

-- Maintain the valleys as the most important landscape axes;

-- The whole area is divided into a town center and five eco-villages, and eco-villages are linked around the town center through the landscape axes;

-- A main pedestrian axis links the town center with the existing commercial areas.

In planning, we respected hillside natural beauty, fully used natural resources, “grew” the road layout and building groups along the hilly terrain, and created three-dimensional and rich architectural spaces, so as to make the area become an organic architecture community integrated with the nature, and achieve “Heaven and Human in One” of people, buildings and nature.

In architectural design, we borrowed the residential characteristics of Mediterranean region where Olympia is located, and this style is suitable to Chongqing’s climatic conditions and the site’s geomorphology, so the romantic, warm, mellow, rustic, and natural charm made the project become the representative of Chongqing high-end boutique residence. At the same time, depending on their different locations in master plan, each block formed an area with different regional architectural feature and its relatively pure style. Among them, in order to echo the theme of Olympia, the town center used Greek style architecture, giving the entire project a profound meaning; hillside villas used Italian Country House style, and Spanish and French styles were used in low-lying areas, so as to make the entire villa area have an "A Town of Four Countries" style layout.
