The new lab facility in Devens, Massachusetts boasts two floors of new lab space integrated with better designed collaborative zones. Throughout the design and well into its construction we were very engaged with the clients and the people that would come to work in these spaces in order to streamline work flow from lab work to desk work. The technical aspects of this project were well balanced with the more design heavy portions in order to create a building that was conducive to lab work as well as more recreational functions that the client might want. I was able to involve myself in both the 3D modelling of the building for renders as well as more technical work, such as finishing off construction documents.
