I grew up in a small town with beautiful classic Spanish architecture; therefore, I admire architecture from a young age. I had the opportunity to move to the United States where I started my career in architecture, I have worked on projects for The National Heritage in Ecuador where I got to learn so much from the preservation of old structures as well as their importance in their history, and the importance of history to create something new. I was part of a group of students from the US that worked in a project in Costa Rica for a community of the area, we experienced the pressure there is to balance the design with the needs of the client. Personally, this experience was unique because we got to talk about needs and accommodate at our best on our design. During school I also had the opportunity to work with Habitat for Humanity in Buffalo, we worked on individual designs for affordable houses that can be built for future families in need, this had allowed me to expand my knowledge as a designer. These are some of the skills that I gained these years in design and construction.
