I have just recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Stout, a CIDA accredited university, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in  Interior Design.  My coursework as well as internship experience has exposed me to both sectors of the design industry – residential and commercial.  Since high school, I have been using AutoCAD and Revit to communicate my designs and have become very well versed with both programs.  I’ve just recently began experimenting with SketchUp and will be working towards gaining more experience with that.  I’ve truly always had a passion for interior design so it’s only natural that I’ve chosen a career to mirror that.  I look forward to finding opportunities that allow me to express my creative and practical side at the same time and be a part of a multi-faceted industry that is constantly changing.

My philosophy with design is that it is something that can change the world one person at a time.  Design is a form of communication that is experienced by all everyday and is something that ultimately brings hope and optimism among users.  The environments that we inhabit are vital to our development as human beings because it directly affects our concentration, productivity, happiness, and of course, our memories.  Each day our minds should be livened by the world around us and design is a crucial element that accomplishes that.  Without design, the world would be chaotic and without order; it would be a sad place to live in that is devoid of prosperity and growth.  Most importantly, design gives everyone the power to be the best they can be, to feel confident in their day-to-day activity, and to serve as inspiration for a better tomorrow.  The more that those ideals are accepted among the masses, the more design can change our lives forever and I hope to be a part of that for the rest of my life.
