Philadelphia, PA, US

This is a virtual event. Registration is required.

Catherine Ircha is a Vancouver-based art director in the entertainment industry, where she has worked for the past 24 years.  Her work has appeared in such films and tv series as Elysium, 2012, and A Series of Unfortunate Events, among others.

As an Art Director, Catherine works with the production designer to produce a distinct visual and graphic identity for all the sets and locations seen on camera and coordinates numerous departments. This form of worldbuilding scales from months and years of pre-production to intense days and weeks of the shoot.

Catherine graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1995.

This event is part of Master Lectures, a new series designed for second-year Master of Architecture students, featuring presentations from experts in their field. For more information, please contact Associate Professor Simon Kim.
