Hagley Oval Pavilion

Developed Design and Contract Documentation (with Athfield Architects)

This project asked for the redevelopment of historic cricket ground to accommodate international matches, in anticipation of the ICC Cricket World Cup. Planned before the earthquakes and refined after: the pavilion is the result of extended planning and design processes that, in the long term, may have strengthened the result.

The brief included: master-planning and concept design for a new boutique pavilion, landscaping, match lighting and perimeter grass embankments for spectators. The work completed during the developed design phase of this project has been published at www.hagleyoval.co.nz. The work completed as part of the contract documentation included: Revit model management, coordination with consultants and detail design drawings. A sample of which has been included below.
