Sara Abed is a graduate of the Landscape Architecture undergraduate program at the California Polytechnic State University of Pomona. She is a member of the ASLA Emerging Professionals Chapter in Orange County. She served as the student secretary at Cal Poly Pomona during her senior year at Cal Poly Pomona. She is the recipient of the Takeo Uesugi Scholarship (2012), the CLASS Funds Scholarship (2013), and the Walt Disney Imagineers Choice Award (2013). She continues to explore her interests in developing expressive, progressive, and proactive landscapes through built narratives. Sara believes that her personal values could be utilized to strengthen the current conditions of our rambunctious landscapes.
