About 

A recent alumnus of Tuskegee University's Robert R. Taylor School of Architecture and Construction Sciences (TSACS), Ricardo is currently a graduate student at Texas A&M University's Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning Department working towards his Master of Urban Planning (Hazard Mitigation emphasis) where he works part-time as an Architectural Intern at Patterson Architects in Bryan, TX.

Previously, Ricardo was employed as a summer architectural intern at Pierce Goodwin Alexander and Linville (PGAL), a Houston based architecture firm  that provides architectural, engineering, design-build, program management and interior architectural services to private and public sector clients in the United States and Mexico where he gained invaluable experience in preparing architectural drawings while working on a multitude of project types.

Currently, Ricardo is working towards becoming a licensed architect under NCARB and a LEED accredited professional.

Ricardo has various interests including but not limited to: neuroscience, architectural design and practice, historic preservation, structural engineering, multi-hazard design and mitigation, architecture education related to licensure and accreditation, egyptian architecture and theory, sustainable design, building information modelling, structural steel, seismic retrofitting, and third world countries

Some of his core proficiencies include effective oral and written communication, hand drafting, CAD Drawings and Revit Drawings. He is cognizant in the production of presentation and construction drawings. Some of his other technological competencies include: SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. Ricardo is also fluent in Spanish and has limited proficiency in French.

Assisting project manager and architects in construction drawings of pre-fabricated structure projects; and other modular construction projects at Texas A&M University.

Designing schematics specialized in space programming as well as developing of elevations, sections, architectural details of Texas A&M University projects.
