Rehabilitation of the “Virgen de Gracia” chapel

The chapel don’t have to use since the Civil War, so its abandonment date of mid-nineteenth century. His state of ruin is virtually total.
A typical causes of deterioration of an abandoned building (climatic factors, the growing vegetation, etc.) must be added the work and damage to certain people in the absence of a permanent control.

The project involves the reconstruction and enhancement of the ruined architectural elements of the chapel because the existing documentation remains and allow the return of its formal aspect, with the power to building functionality.

The small church, which was begun in 1507 and was completed in 1538, responds to a hybrid style Mudejar Gothic, single nave covered with a barrel vault with lunettes.
