ver|texx is a LA-based creative studio founded in 2015 by twin sisters Anna & Maria Kobalyan. v|t focuses with an interdisciplinary approach to create objects of every day hardware.
Creative process starts with wandering and brainstorming, sketching and designing, producing and fabricating and lastly testing by wearing. Constant inspiration comes from the local environment, its surroundings and one of a kind LA culture. Over the past decade, Downtown Los Angeles has been altered in community and context. We represent a connection to our restless urban environment. The work materialized out of ver|texx justifies LA’s thick density and diversity block by block.
