This project was a proposal for the Hirshhorn Museum in developing an expansion to house modern art exhibitions.  The semester focused on digital modeling for development of the design.  In this development, several options were explored, including the concept of sliding spaces to combine the older exhibitions with the newer and more modern art spaces.  The double height spaces and the creation of a destination space, and the interior-exterior visual relationship enforces the idea of a seamless space that shifts inside and outside.
