The projects involves the restoration of an old building along with construction of a new underground parking in Piazzale Cremona. The restoration work was focused on a building dating XIX century proposed to be reused as an office building. The plot was long and narrow and the first aspect of intervention was to create a visually permeable unique facade facing the piazza. The second aspect was to use its basement for parking revealing the medieval walls and redesigning the public garden. This becomes the guideline as well as the strength of the project. The area is historically important. Porta San Alessandro was built in 1249 and is part of the broader project of fortifications running along
the highway of Brescia (second circle of ancient walls).
