This project was a commercial/retail space for the village of Seaside, a master-planned, unincorporated community development in Walton County, in Florida's Panhandle.  The requirements were that there be at least two points of egress from the building, in order to comply with fire codes.  An elevator was required to comply with the ADA requirements for handicapped access.  The concept was designed to be as open as was practicable, while connecting the occupant to the outside environment.
