161 Henry Street is a 10-story cooperative building with 30 residential apartments. The building is located at the northeast corner of Henry and Pierrepont Streets in the Brooklyn Heights section of Brooklyn.

The property is located within the Brooklyn Heights District, as designated by the New York City Landmark Preservation Commission (LPC). Therefore, issuance of an LPC permit will be required prior to commencement of work at this site. All work shall be performed in complete accordance with applicable LPC guidelines and requirements.

The general scope of this project entails replacement of all windows throughout the building, excluding the building entry doors/windows along the west, north and south elevations; the basement level windows and doors along the east elevation; and miscellaneous windows along the east elevation and return walls. The existing windows are mostly original to the building, which was built circa 1906.
