The idea behind the building is the interaction between day and night.  The design takes a single unit and pulls it across the site to form a perimeter block. Like music, it creates a rhythm that dictates the movement between the spaces.  This system is then bent by the site forces.  The bend creates a space that promotes movement through the building.  It becomes the point where the spaces of the day meet the spaces of the night.  This interaction creates a dynamic where the building is always in use.  From dawn to dusk, the building is alive.
