HMV Futuristic Music Store

Nowadays, since the whole music industry has begun to decline, HMV also has undergone an extremely difficult time. Digital music has become an inevitable trend. Instead of obstinately insisting its traditional field, physical music stores should embrace the future, using digital technologies to provide a more interesting music listening and downloading environment.
This design seeks to redefine current music store services and provide new in-store experiences: offering an exciting interactive downloading environment, combining music and other forms of art, gathering people who have common interesting, and changing the store to a music playground. Meanwhile the store also sells some collectible vintage records and provides new release 3D printing. According to these different functions, the store is divided into different areas: physical vinyl area, music exploring hallway, digital downloading café, interactive recording studio, visualizing music zone, and a music stage. Different functional areas are relatively independent, but also interspersed with each other in the whole environment, providing customers continuous freshness and curiosity to explore.
The interior style will interpret the concept of a playground, providing a playful and interesting store environment. Use jumping colors, various shapes and curving lines to break the rigid layout of current stores and create a lively atmosphere of youth culture.
