About 

Graham Bennett graduated with a Master of Architecture from the University of Melbourne in 2011. Throughout the Masters program, he explored his interest in community, institutional and sporting projects. He developed a passion for creating spaces which enhance the user experience.


During his Bachelor of Architectural Studies at the University of Melbourne, he completed his final semester on exchange at Stuttgart University, Germany. This allowed him to continue his architectural education and also to become fluent in the language by studying subjects in German.


Graham worked in a part time role with Partridge and Grey Architecture, www.pgarchitecture.com.au alongside the directors on residential renovations. He created drawings from Existing Conditions through to Building Permit stage and took charge of the design and maintenance of the practice website.


In 2009, Graham worked at Clarke Hopkins Clarke Architects and gained experience working predominantly on education projects. He has strong AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe CS skills and is developing his proficiency with Revit. Graham is a goal oriented and team focused person, with a strong work ethic and an easy going manner.

Outside of work, Graham is a passionate cricketer with the Banyule Cricket Club,where he plays, volunteers and is on the executive committee. He also enjoys reading, tacking fitness challenges such as triathlons and half marathons, indulging in his love of AFL club Hawthorn and exploring the world.

I worked in a part-time role with Partridge and Grey Architecture. My work included residential projects using AutoCAD and Photoshop . I worked alongside the directors on the following tasks:
- existing conditions drawings
- concept design drawings
- town planning applications
- building permit drawings
- website creation and maintenance

My level of attention to detail, organisational skills and work ethic enabled me to succeed in a recent short-term role with Urban Water Solutions. Initially, I was brought on for a three week period, but I was retained until the end of the project, which lasted eight months. I was retained because I produced high quality work while consistently being the most productive in my team. I learned how to use new computer programs quickly and took initiative to train new staff.

After my exchange in Germany, I worked work CHC Architects before starting a Master of Architecture. I worked on commercial and education projects using AutoCAD and Photoshop on a wide variety of projects including Morwell Park Primary School and St. Josephs Primary School.

I received the Baden-Württemberg Scholarship to study one semester of my Bachelor of Architectural Studies on exchange at Universität Stuttgart, Germany. I was able to develop my German skills to become fluent as I completed Architectural Design, Structural and German Language subjects.
