About 

Aaron Follett started his career in architecture in 1996 at Machado and Silvetti Associates where he developed his skills at this award winning architecture firm in Boston for eight years. Many of the projects he worked on at Machado and Silvetti now dot the skyline of Boston including The South Boston Waterfront Park, One Western Avenue, and Atelier 505. After moving to New York in 2004 he won the Rotch Scholarship and traveled for a year studying public spaces around the Mediterranean Sea.  After returning from his research he has worked on several large projects across the United States, managed several large interior designs in Manhattan and Boston.

RGO Partnership, Boston, MA, US, Project Manager

Full design build interior of a gutted townhouse on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts. Coordinating the sale of the lower unit and designing the interior of the upper unit for the owner. Construction starts at the beginning of 2011. Working Drawings are currently being developed as the design phase is finishing. Other projects for RGO Partnership being developed include Bosse Fitness club in Kendall Square, Cambridge Massachusetts as well as other tennis clubs throughout Boston, Massachusetts and Austin, Texas.

MR Architecture and Décor, New York, NY, US, Project Manager

Participated in design charrettes for a lobby to a Tribeca high end residential complex. Designed and completed a pricing set for renovation in the Upper East Side. Designed, selected materials and completed a pricing set for a 3500 square foot Tribeca loft.

Berg Vidal Architects, New York, NY, US, Project Manager

Produced and managed a 97 sheet set for a 9000 square foot home in Fairfield, Connecticut. Developed a church and residential project in Harlem, New York. Managed an office of ten with several small projects in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Coral Gables, Florida. Reviewed projects within the office for city submission. Completed a city submission set and pricing set for the Biltmore Hotel Villas. Coordinated with structural and mechanical engineers the layering of parking, pedestrian streets, and residential units for the Biltmore Villas. Developed individual units with courtyards, rooftop terraces, and reflecting pools.

Completed a bid and construction set for a large penthouse project in the Time Warner Center. Worked closely with sub contractors and general contractor with daily supervision. Met with client representative, contractors and client weekly monitoring costs. Coordinated art work placement, deliveries, and selection. Weekly meetings with building representative to coordinate construction and completion.

Responsible for many duties within the office including wood shop management. Worked closely with contractors on construction of park pavilions and masons on a large Harvard housing project. Met with clients of new subway kiosks and park pavilions. Managed the exterior package for the Harvard Graduate Student Housing project. Completed drawing sets for many of the projects in the office. Participated and played a major role in winning many competitions within the office.
