Support and assist Project Architect and Design Architect with construction document of a Mix Use Complex. I managed this assignment with a team of 2 Staff architects and 2 Technitians being responsible to coordinate engineering with in house civil engineers and MEP team.
Also, took over a project from the Oman Kingdom for a 4 Points by Sheraton Hotel in Muscat for which I was assigned an intern architect and a technitian for a major peer review and document revision to meet new franchise requirements that affected the podium and exterior landscape. Generated construction documents while construction was already initiated so CA was very intense with the ongoing changes. Building permit update was granted successfully. All code analysis was reviewed as well and Safety plans were re-submitted as well prior to update of Building permit was resubmitted.

Assisted Project Architect with interior renovations to Sports & Health clubs including occasional support to other teams with drafting, marketing and design loads for mix use, commercial and hospitality projects.
Most relevant experience was to fully manage small projects for Avis Budget and a large new Vehicle Maintenance Facility with major site improvements. I managed and produced construction documents from Site survey and schematics from Design Architect with a team of two people through Design Development (responsible for material research), Construction Document, Tender package, construction package and Construction Administration.

Provided additional support to the design team with presentation materials for Single Family, Multifamily mid rise and high rise.

Initially hired as project coordinator responsible to maintain information up to date and follow up construction progress for Procter & Gamble at their multiple manufacturing facilities for small internal renovations and a major new construction of two production lines for shampoo products. During project execution, other new interior renovations were required for which being the only architect in the supervision team made me responsible for feasibility studies, solution analysis and then provide conceptual design, design development, construction document, engineering coordination, safety analysis and code compliance, and construction project management, as well as prepare tender set and assist purchasing department in the contractor selection and mobilization. Construction Administration was also part of the responsibilities.

Responsible to draft city plans for Natural Gas Distribution new and existing grid for Miller Construction, once the main construction stages were completed I continued maintaining the archives for the Maintenance and emergency teams while updating the new residential and industrial zones that required new Gas lines. I was reporting directly to the Design Engineer. I had to liaise with Public Works authorities and private developers to obtain either new maps or allow survey for mapping with GIS.
During this period I also practiced as architect doing Real Estate Development for small developers and single family projects for individuals. I was doing the conceptual design and producing construction documents for renovations and new buildings and most times doing also the construction management and becoming the contractor as well for a final delivery of a finished product.

Real estate development in the 21st century includes a broad range of projects including urban mixed use, suburban new towns and adaptive reuse of historic structures, all requiring significant design expertise. Practicing architects can significantly enhance the quality of the built environment, while at the same time taking advantage of potential business opportunities to share in these market driven forces through an educational grounding in the fundamentals of real estate development.

The concentration in real estate development is designed to provide graduate students with a program of study that integrates architectural design with business, law, construction management and urban planning practices, all of which form the basis of modern real estate development.

We followed a rigorous program of architecture studios melding design considerations with real estate issues. The concentration provides an overview of the development process with an emphasis on understanding urban planning regulations, financial feasibility analysis, site and market analysis, architectural contract law, construction management and project financing.
