For the past several years, Parnika has gained professional experience in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design on projects located in the USA, India, Qatar and the UAE.
After receiving a professional degree in Architecture with distinction from the College of Engineering and Technology, India, Parnika designed and contributed to projects that varied in scale from single family residential to large mixed use urban development ventures. At Aedas, she was the project architect for the execution of a geometrically complex, multi-family residential development in Oman, designed by Foster and Partners. In 2011, Parnika pursued a post professional Master’s degree in the research, study and practice of Urban Design at Columbia University. At Columbia, she was selected to work on an independent research project in White Plains, NY for The Mayor’s Institute on City Design; a team collaboration that has continued beyond her educational studies to her professional research into specific urban conditions concerning quality of life in the public realm.
After graduating from Columbia, Parnika worked with !Melk, a reputed design firm located in Manhattan, on challenging landscape architecture and urban design projects in the United States and the Middle East.
Parnika is passionate about improving the quality of the built environment though design, and is dedicated to a proactive role as an architect, urban designer and leader in the future of our cities.
