I have always had a passion for almost anything related to design and building, and I recently became interested in furniture design/ assembly and photography.  I enjoy traveling and I am always open to living and working in new cities.  Living in different cities of the United States has expanded my perspective.  Northern New Mexico's high desert landscape was stimulating and inspirational.  After three years in Albuquerque, I decided to move east to Richmond, Virginia.  Living in historic Richmond for two years taught me to appreciate all that is from the past.  Specializing in adaptive reuse felt gratifying due to the city's historic fabric.  Being from expansive Texas, the close proximity of cities and states in the east was much appreciated.  I enjoyed exploring the area by train or a short drive.  My experiences growing up in Texas and exploring other regions of the United States will be forever etched in my memory and influence my life and design perspective.
