About 

Paula Banda completed her undergraduate thesis from SCI-Arc (Southern California Institute of Architecture) in Downtown, Los Angeles in 2012.

Her work as been published and showcased in several school exhibitions and publications, and have been recognized in a few architectural sites such as Sucker Punch Daily and Super-Architects for her thesis.

She prides herself for being design oriented which drives her to become self-motivated, dedicated, detail oriented and a great team player. Paula is prepared to tackle any design challenges. Her ultimate goal is to seek positive design solutions to the areas where we build because we live in a world where there's nothing left to discover; therefore designing one is the best creation of all.


Employment 

House & Robertson Architects, Inc., Culver City, CA, Architectural Designer

Paula has worked on various projects through the years at HRA. Her recently completed project is the creative campus, Flight at Tustin Legacy located in Tustin, California. She had the opportunity to work on the project from design development to plan check and permitting where she helped managed and review RFI's and submitals with consultants and contractors throughout construction administration phase.

She also lead and managed several small projects for the NBC Universal Campus project from design document phase through plan check process.

Currently, Paula is working for Pedini LA as an associate designer. Her duties involves assisting the showroom director and design principal with creating and developing overall kitchen design concepts for modern residences all throughout Los Angeles. Duties also includes preparing project drawings and constructions documents for clients and vendors, updating and maintaining projects, orders, schedules, and meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects.

Lead designer of an installation design for a media campus in West Los Angeles. Duties involves designing an art installation and producing detail drawings and renderings including shop drawings.
