About 

I am interior architect with 15+ years of experience in architectural and interior design projects. I have specialized in Educational, Commercial and Tenant Improvement projects. My skills and experience consist in development and full understanding of construction documentation, code analysis, space planning, coordination with consultants and responsible for construction administration. I enjoy learning about architecture, materials and methods and figuring out details and space planning issues for projects. 

 My experience and preference falls more in the technical side of design. I am a self-directed, efficient designer with a good eye for detail and I have great organizational and management skills.

 I hold certifications in the following; NCIDQ, LEED AP and CDT. I am a current member of NCARB and am in the process of taking my ARE exams. 

I am well versed in the following programs; AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. And I have a basic understanding of Adobe InDesign and Lightroom.

Am the main lead designer for several projects in my studio. I am responsible for the main design as well as the CD's, CA and code analysis portion of the design. I am responsible for managing the schedule and budget of the project and keeping it on track. I have designers that work under me and am responsible for keeping them billable and like to spend time mentoring as much as I can.
I enjoy the time I get with younger designers and sharing my knowledge and experience.

I was part of a team of four in our studio in developing Revit standards specifically for our studio.
worked with technical director during the QA/QC process for each project.

I am part of the Job Captain Committee and participate in setting and maintaining the standards for each team in the firm.
As a job captain I also have weekly coordination meetings with my project manager to discuss status of projects, their schedules and budgets.
