Recent M.Arch graduate from USC School of Architecture. Designer, craftsman, and maybe the first person to move to LA to leave the film industry. Transitioned into architecture after a decade of designing and building sets for theatre, film, and television. Alec is a 2024 Holcim Sustainable Design Fellow, a winner of a 2023 Architizer Vision Award in the Student Model category, and a USC Travel Fellow where he researched how degrowth can be applied in Architecture and Urban Design.

I ran the paint department for the Boston Lyric Opera. This included working on production schedules with the technical director, managing a materials budget for each show, making samples of techniques used on the scenery for each show and then teaching the other painters how to do the techniques required for each production.
