About

Spanning five cities over ten years, my experience as an architectural designer has revealed the personal nature of design in each individual approach and hinted at latent potential in designing from a sustainable perspective. My initial positions on smaller teams taught me to operate with a multidisciplinary framework, which I have built upon with each new endeavor.

Starting in Kansas City, I established a foundation of as-built documentation and historic preservation guidelines. With a nonprofit in Montana, I investigated material qualities and how they characterize a space, while beginning construction administration and site observation. In Boston, I learned to step back and conceptualize a top-down approach for projects ranging from large-scale masterplanning to localized graphic interventions.

My position in Seattle fed my repository of technical expertise and efficiency in standards. There, I collaborated directly with clients, consultants, and the general contractor, and conducted hands-on user research by engaging in community outreach events. Within the office, my role constantly shifted from concept visualizer to documentation/BIM manager to construction administration contact.

I currently act as a project manager and architectural designer for a shared-living management company. While further honing my design expertise within shared residential spaces, I am exponentially expanding my knowledge beyond the architectural realm into real estate, property management, and business operations, driven by the company’s commitment to creating attainable living spaces.
