About

My passion is to design and plan for projects that make authentic and enjoyable places for their communities through meaningful and engaging design and planning. I believe every community has their own unique characteristics that need to be identified and employed in the design and planning process. Through my past experiences on both public and private projects, I have developed skills in preparing high quality presentations and graphics and engaging with communities effectively. Combining both technical skills and experience in public engagement, I am looking forward to bringing new ideas and visioning to the design and planning process, while addressing challenges with implementable solutions.

I have nearly two years of experience in the development of projects for University of Cincinnati related to master planning, space planning, sustainability, and design. I learned and developed valuable professional skills such as interpreting observation and analysis into maps and diagrams, developing solutions from ideas and concepts into design, programming and planning through various software programs such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and ArcGIS. I also learned how to communicate verbally and graphically with clients and general audience in an easily understandable way. I gained valuable social experience from attending several client meetings.
I was involved in different types of projects such as:
• Space planning for several campus buildings, such as McMicken classrooms, University Pavilion, Title IX office, Student service center, etc.
• Designing and planning proposals for outdoor and interior spaces on campus such as Clermont dining & lounge, and Bearcat plaza statue for UC Bicentennial,
• Preparing two comparable proposal packages for two sites, including site plan, zoning map, floor plan, program of space, and cost evaluation for new sculpture studio,
• Revising GIS maps for bike racks on campus,
