About

A seasoned design architect, I have broad experience in both systems thinking and project management. These combined skills have enabled me to deliver the design of complex projects as Associate Partner and Director of Operations at John Fotiadis Architect PLLC (JFA) in New York. Together with my partner in the firm, I constantly reconciled the goals and priorities of JFA with those of our diverse clients while fostering opportunities for design excellence.

As Rockrose’s go-to architect while at JFA, I designed and executed a variety of specialty projects, including renovations of Landmark buildings, master planning for streetscape and public plaza improvements, and apartments, lobbies, and common spaces throughout their residential portfolio.

Prior to joining JFA, I was senior designer at Costas Kondylis and partners (CKP) in New York where I designed residential, commercial and hospitality projects both in NY and internationally.

I was born and educated in Egypt. Before moving to New York in 2004 I was a lead architect at Hamza Associates, winner of the Agha Khan award for architecture. I have also collaborated with international design firms such as Snøhetta on iconic design projects.
