As a Graduate Architect at leading International Firm, Cox Architecture, I gained experience on a wide variety of large and small-scale projects for public and private clients. I have taken on varying roles in the practice and worked with highly experienced registered architects who have constantly encouraged my participation and contribution throughout all stages of projects.

Concept and Schematic Design:
As a graduate Architect, I was moved into the Design Team working along side creative director and Government Architect, Steve Woodland. This involved preparing early concept and schematic Designs for a range of small and large scale projects. Projects include: The New Cyprus Museum (CYPRUS) , Ghaf Hills (UAE), Elizabeth Quay (Perth), Shalom Mens Housing, Murdoch Health and Knowledge Precinct, Belmont Oasis Centre etc.

Roles and Responsibilities for this included:
Architectural Research, Site Analysis, Diagramming, Graphic Design, Communication skills for: Narrative Description, Design & Urban Design, Preparation of Presentation Drawings & Models, Team Work & Time Management

Built & Published Projects:
In addition to Concept Design, as a Graduate Architect I have experience on built and published references such as Capital Square (due to be completed mid-2017), and ECU Classroom refurbishment.
I was responsible for Client and Consultant Liaison, Design and Contract Documentation. Preparing Documentation and Presentation Drawings & Models, Time management, Excellent communication and organisational Skills.

Other Areas that I have worked in as a graduate are:
Concept design, design development, development applications, presentation drawing, feasibility studies, project co-ordination, documentation, model making, 3D modelling, EOI’s and graphic design

During my studies, I was offered a 1st round placement in the 2015 Architecture Summer Studio, with acclaimed international architects Rafael Aranda, Carme Pigem and Roman Vilalta, of RCR Arquitectes. This studio is based in Olot, Spain at Espai Barberi, home of RCR Arquitectes.

During my Bachelor I also undertook an Art and Architectural History Unit in Rome. These International Intensive design units were highly beneficial and invaluable experiences which broadened my global perspective, encouraging me to adapt to a different cultural environment.
