Katherine Kania

Brooklyn, NY, US

For the past 3 years, I worked as an architectural designer at a retail and branding creative agency. I managed and led the development of design concept to 3D rendering and construction documents of interior design, furniture, and retail enviroments. I also worked on creating the production of graphics for print and web content with various brands. Having an architectural degree and background, I am eager to work on projects that allow me to apply my construction and material innovation knowledge towards various types of projects and experiences that will broaden my knowledge beyond retail. I have a background consulting innovative 3D and technical designs in luxury brand companies and smaller start-up design studios. Through these projects and working within smaller design firms and various clients, I consider myself an astute designer that has been able to learn quickly and be sensitive to the environments the design adapts to. I am very proficient with many 3D design and 2D drafting programs [AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Rhino, Sketchup Adobe CS5 programs], rendering [Vray], and I have exceptional physical production skills with various materials and technologies.
