Dear Sir or Madam,

This email is to express my interest in bringing my years as an architect in your studio. I have recently finished my degree in Architecture and now, I am looking for a first job where further and apply the acquired knowledge in a practical way. I started my university studies at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in the academic year 2003/2004 at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura (School of Architecture). For more detailed information on the different subjects accomplished I include a current original transcript of Diploma Supplement.

I did the last stage of my degree, which consists on the development of a Final Project, which was corrected by a jury composed by professors of my school in Valencia. This project can be related to a real building project, such as estimate calculation of structures, plumbing facilities, pipelines facilities and so on. The subject of the project was “Instituto Tecnológico de la cerámica con residencia para investigadores” (Ceramic Technological Institute with residence for researchers).

As you can see in the Curriculum Vitae I have experience in the industry as trainees. I played a similar job in a business where I worked. The knowledge acquired during these years, coupled with my ability to teamwork and desire to work and learn make me be a capable person to work effectively in this position.

During my studies I have received training in the area of housing, sports pavilions, indoor pools, health centres, office buildings and technological institutes. I have done internships at two companies where projects were dealt with very different field, from building homes and schools until the restoration.

During my academic and work experience I learned values of teamwork, commitment, how to focus on objectives and how to structure my time so that these activities fit into my schedule. My work experience has given me to know the real work, the most common problems in projects and how to solve them.

I look forward to talking to you in an upcoming interview, to personally expose my knowledge and my desire to be part of your team.

Yours faithfully,

Vanesa Prado Martín
