Matthew earned his Master of Architecture degree from the Washington University in St. Louis Graduate School of Architecture. He graduated with Honors, and was the recipient of the Full-Tuition Scholarship. In addition, he received his Bachelor of Design (Major in Architecture) from the University of Florida where he was awarded the Paul and Harriette Franklin Scholarship for academic performance.

He is currently a designer at Gensler in Washington, DC and is working toward professional licensure.

Matthew is experienced in a variety of design techniques such as digital and physical drafting, diagramming and model-making, 3-D rendering, delivering clear design presentations, and thorough site and program analysis.

Participated in site visits for both under-construction and completed projects for purposes of photographing and documenting work for company website and portfolio.

Currently participating in the on-going, collaborative design of the Hine Project, a mixed-use, transit-oriented development in Washington, DC's historic Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Responsibilities include collaborating directly with project and design architects on the further development, design, and detailing of the office component (7 story, 180,000 G.S.F. office building + retail)

Producing and developing construction documents, drawings and renderings for client presentations, and 3D computer models for design and presentation purposes

Coordinating drawings with multiple consultants on a regular basis

Meeting and working with material and product representatives from various disciplines
