During my career, I have applied my proven expertise and ongoing professional development to meeting and exceeding all objectives put before me. The following examples from my resume represent the absolute value I can deliver in this new role:
As the Principal Designer and Owner of Paul O’Rourke Design, I managed projects effectively from concept development stage through installation; this included prototyping and manufacturing processes. I developed floor plans, elevations, sections and details throughout all design phases. In my time running the business, I custom designed furniture, decks, interiors, fine art and accessories. I also completed residential designs and builds; completed installations include DIFFA-SF, The Exploratorium, The Wheelchair Foundation and Clean Ocean Action. I also provide bureau services for other new York Designers. (drafting, sourcing, project management)
While serving as a Designer for E.N. Interiors, I designed functional yet visually pleasing residential spaces; as a part of this process, I composed concept designs and material boards. I also executed research, shopping and FF&E duties in an efficient and expedient manner. Additionally, I documented and tracked all CFAs, orders and deliveries.
During my time as a Theatrical Design in New York, I created and built sets and lighting designs for numerous off-off-Broadway shows and developed a sought after dramatic style. Furthermore, I created staging concepts, lighting systems and other materials for construction.
As a seasoned professional, I am dedicated to partnering with a team with the same passion for growth and success within the design industry.
